My Idea

  • I was thinking I'd rely on your Student Page as a starting point for reading and evaluating and crediting your work on the wiki. That's why it is so important that you list and link to all of the pages you create and work on. I think it would be utterly chaotic without this central listing.
  • I was thinking I'd use the same old scale for determining the grade (45=A, 35=B, 25=C).- brtom brtom

Please contribute ideas about how your work on this wiki might be graded.

Your Idea

- I've been finding that there are a lot more steps to take in the making of a wiki post than there was on the message board. Having to make sure the page stuff is added at the bottom, adding the tildes and lines, going back to your student page and creating a link for every post, etc., all starts to add up. For that reason, I think the grade scale should be taken down a bit because the added work put in to making each post has made the same amount of effort and time produce less.- NVa-c NVa-c Feb 24, 2008

I agree with you Nick because I find that I need to spend a lot more time on the wiki that I did on the old discussion board to post the same number of times.- mha-c mha-c Feb 27, 2008

Yea I agree with both of these guys, and also there are little annoying things on this site that also make the posting process a little harder. At least five times while I write a post and then someone else saves their draft before I'm done, then I have to figure out how to get my post and the other person's on the same draft. I think I figured it out (sorry to whoever it was if i didn't) but still it's just a little more difficult here.- mka-c mka-c Feb 27, 2008
